First things first. Before we dive into the various data standards let’s first explain what XML is. XML is short for Extensible Markup Language. It is used to describe data. The XML standard is a flexible way to create information formats and electronically share structured data via the Internet, as well as via corporate networks.
As in life in general, in XML we need to follow a set of rules. Those rules are called schemas (.xsd). They ensure that XML files are valid.
A set of (nested) XSD schema files makes up an XML standard. This brings us to the point of this article.
We have created a library of XML Standards per Industry. Now all of you XML lovers have all of the XML data standards in one place. We will add to this list over time.
Where relevant we have also added a link to a blog post. Each post shows how XML files can be converted to a database, text, or Hadoop using Flexter our XML converter. Everything happens automatically. Not a single line of code is needed. Any XML industry data standard is handled no matter the complexity.

The EPC Tag Data Standard (TDS) also describes in terms of human-readable encoding and decoding rules for each coding scheme, how to translate between three representations of the electronic product code (EPC), namely the binary format and two formats of uniform resource identifiers (URI), one for tag-encoding and another for pure identity.

oneM2M: ETSI TS 118 104 V2.7.1
Download
oneM2M XSD
The oneM2M architecture is resource-based (ETSI TS 118 101 ). The functionality of the system is exposed by means of APIs over all reference points specified in ETSI TS 118 101. Operations upon resources hosted by a CSE are carried over an established channel that constitutes the communication on the reference points Mca and Mcc. All resource operations could be fulfilled with the considerations in terms of scalability, extensibility, fault tolerance and robustness, energy efficiency, and self-operation.
Each resource operation comprises a pair of primitives: Request and Response. The Request and Response primitives
can be represented as XML documents or JSON texts. This process of representing a primitive as XML documents or
JSON texts is denoted serialization in the present document. Serialization translates primitives into a format that can be
stored or exchanged between network entities. This is exploited when transmitting primitives over communication
protocols such as HTTP, CoAP or MQTT.

RIXML was formed when a number of buy- and sell-side firms came together to discuss a common problem: the amount of investment research that was being distributed had outgrown the tools available to organize it. The consumers of investment research needed better ways to access the precise research they needed, and the creators of investment research needed a better way to ensure that their research was seen by those who would benefit from it.

PESC XSD
Formatting data in the ISO standard format of PDF (Portable Document Format) is an excellent way to
display and view information; however the format was neither designed for nor natively enables the exchange
of data between systems. The PDF Working Group of PESC was challenged to find a means to leverage the
near ubiquitous use and acceptance of PDF documents that would allow such documents to enable data
exchange. By capitalizing on one of the PDF’s capabilities to serve as a container or conveyance, the
Working Group has devised a standard for embedding files within the PDF that can make the PDFs machinereadable.
Also, if embedded files are themselves machine-readable (e.g., another standard XML file), the
PDF joins with the other data PESC formats as a very effective data exchange medium.

A .twbx file is a Tableau Packaged Workbook, meaning it is the original .twb file bundled together with the data source in one package. .twbx files can be considered analogous to specialized zip files, in which these “zip” files contain all the information necessary to work in Tableau. The .twb file alone is not enough to perform any analysis because it only contains Tableau’s instructions for interacting with a data source. In actuality, .twb files are XML files specially tailored to interact with data sources. In this walk through, we will process this XML file using Flexter and then load the TSV output into tableau for querying/analysis.Convert XML Metadata of Tableau Workbooks (TWB) to Text
